Aegentra is small and deliberately so. We're not actively hiring right now — but we keep a short list of operators we'd move quickly for when the right work appears.

What we look for

Operators who own the outcome, value craft over cleverness, and earn trust quietly. Aegentra is a small senior bench — there is no junior tier to hide in and no account layer between the engineer and the client, so everyone here writes, reviews, and defends their own work.

The disciplines we hire into

• ISO management systems — implementation and internal audit against ISO 27001, ISO 42001, ISO 27701 and the wider Annex SL family. Experience inside a certification body or a regulated environment counts for a lot.
• Microsoft 365 security — tenant hardening, Entra ID, Purview, Defender and the Essential Eight, as delivered in our Harden engagements.
• Governance, risk and compliance — risk assessment, control design and evidence, the work behind our Govern practice.
• Instruction — practitioners who can teach. Our Academy courses are delivered by people who run the standard in production, not by full-time trainers.

How to introduce yourself

Email careers@aegentra.com.au with a short note about work you are proud of and what you want to be doing more of. A worked artefact — a risk register, an audit finding, a hardening runbook — tells us more than a CV does. There is no form and no tracking system; a person reads it.

Australian work rights are required, and some client engagements need or lead to a security clearance. We will say so plainly if a role is subject to that rather than raising it late.
