Cookies Policy.

We keep cookies to a minimum and use them only for the things a working website needs. This page explains what we set, why, and how to switch them off if you prefer.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences, keep you signed in across pages, and give the operator a privacy-respecting view of how their site is being used.

Similar technologies — local storage, session storage, and pixel tags — work in the same way and are covered by this policy.

Cookies we use

Strictly necessary cookies. These keep the site working — load balancing, basic preference storage (e.g. remembering you have already accepted this notice), and CSRF tokens on form submissions. Without them, parts of aegentra.com.au will not function. They contain no identifiable information.

Analytics and consent measurement. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits, navigation and confirmed enquiries. Google Consent Mode starts with analytics and advertising storage denied. Before you accept, the Google tag may send limited cookieless measurement and consent-status pings, but it cannot read or write non-essential analytics or advertising cookies. If you accept, Google Analytics may use cookies such as _ga to distinguish visits.

Functional cookies. If you book a discovery call through an embedded scheduling tool, that provider may set cookies required for their booking flow. We will name third-party providers explicitly at the point you use them.

Advertising and conversion measurement. We use Google Ads to measure which ad clicks lead to confirmed enquiries. The conversion fires only after our contact service confirms that an enquiry was delivered; simply visiting the contact page is not a lead. If you accepted non-essential processing, the Google tag may use advertising cookies and may normalise and hash the email address from that confirmed enquiry in your browser for Enhanced Conversions. If you did not accept, the lead event is sent under Consent Mode without the email address or advertising storage.

If you accept, we also load Microsoft Advertising UET and Microsoft Clarity. UET measures ad performance and may set first-party cookies such as _uetsid and _uetvid. For a confirmed contact enquiry, our site may send Microsoft a browser-generated SHA-256 hash of the submitted email address for conversion matching. Clarity helps us diagnose aggregate usability issues. Neither Microsoft tool loads when you reject non-essential processing. We do not buy or sell visitor profiles.

Managing cookies

Use the Cookie settings link in the footer at any time to accept or reject non-essential processing. You can also clear or block cookies from any modern browser. The links below explain how:

Blocking strictly necessary storage can affect site functionality. Rejecting analytics and advertising storage has no impact on the contact form or the services available to you.

Changes to this policy

If we add a new cookie category — for example a third-party chat widget — we will update this page and revise the "last updated" date. Material changes are communicated to clients on retainer directly.
