Aegentra today renamed its in-tenant risk engine from "Aegentra Core" to Aeges, separating the product brand from the parent company and signalling an independent roadmap for Microsoft 365 security telemetry.
Aeges collects identity, configuration, and exposure data directly from a customer's Microsoft 365 tenant and delivers prioritised findings through the Aegentra Dashboard. The rename reflects the product's evolution from an internal tooling layer into a standalone offering for SMB IT teams.
The Aeges roadmap focuses on in-tenant execution, SharePoint-delivered reports, and tighter controls around customer data — extending the security-first posture Aegentra applies across its services.
Current clarification, 3 October 2026: the historical announcement does not establish a current standalone purchase option or billing plan. Aeges pricing has not yet been set.
