Aegentra, a Melbourne-based cybersecurity and governance provider, announces its membership of the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program, which began in June 2026. The relationship sits alongside Aegentra's work helping Australian organisations configure, secure and manage Microsoft 365 environments.
Microsoft 365 security built around the organisation
Aegentra's Harden service focuses on the settings and operating practices that determine how a Microsoft 365 environment is protected. Depending on the agreed scope and available licences, this can include identity and access controls, device management and information protection. The starting point is the organisation's users, data and business requirements, followed by a practical plan for configuration and ongoing ownership.
For organisations also working towards ISO 27001, technical configuration needs to connect with governance. Access approvals, responsibility for controls, documented procedures and evidence of operation all matter. Aegentra brings its Microsoft 365 work together with separately scoped governance services so clients can understand both what has been configured and how it will be managed.
