ISO/IEC 42001 is an international standard for an AI Management System — the ISO 42001 courses train you to build or audit that management system, and an organisation can be certified against it. CAIM is PECB’s own credential for managing AI initiatives in practice: prioritising use cases, governing them, reporting on them with dashboards, and automating workflows. If you need the certifiable management system, start with ISO 42001. If you need to run the AI portfolio, CAIM is the closer fit. They complement each other well.
